Title: The Gros-Horloge (English: Great-Clock)
Homage to my Dad, Arthur McAdam who died October 30th this year.
He worked in the pits since he was 14 years old, a keen photographer
he joined many camera clubs to gain more knowledge of the craft.
He once told me that working in the damp and darkness of the mines
gives you an appreciation of light and colour in the real world,
this spurred on his passion to capture the remarkable sights he visited.
Both he and my Mam travelled widely, soaking up culture and the
architecture of European cities and villages.
